This 4"x6" handheld Juneteenth stick flag is fully printed on our Poly-Silk fabric and is finished with a sewn hem. The flag is mounted on a 10"x3/16" black plastic staff with a gold spear top ornament. Stand sold separately.

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration of the ending of slavery in the United States.  Specifically, the date of June 19th is the date the last known slaves in Texas were informed of their freedom.  Rather than a memorial for the horrors of slavery, the holiday became a celebration of the strength and perseverance of African-Americans in this country.  On June 17th, 2021, Juneteenth became a federally recognized holiday.
